Prepare the Room:
The carpet and the furniture of the room need to be protected from damage caused by dripping paint from paint roller or brush. Gather all the furniture in the middle of the room and cover them up with big plastic sheets. If the room is not very spacious, then yous should temporarily shift the furniture in another room or garden. Cover up the carpet and floor with tarps and fix the sheets tightly with the floor with masking tape. This is done to ensure that sheet does not get displaced when you walk around on the floor.
